31 Days to Work-At-Home Success Day 28: Keeping Up to Speed
After 12 years of school, 4 years of college, and 2 years of graduate school, I don’t ever want to go back to school. However that doesn’t mean that the learning stops.
Working at home is always evolving. When I first wanted to work at home, the Internet was barely used and most homes didn’t have a computer. Amazon.com and the word spam didn’t exist. In a few short years, the Internet grew and revolutionized working at home. These changes are still happening and if you want continue to earn money and be a success, you need to keep up with new trends.
Learning isn’t just about keeping informed of your industry, it also inspires and motivates you. It challenges you to new ways of thinking or new ideas to try. I makes you an expert in your field and can set you apart from your competitors.
There are many ways to continue your education such as:
- Reading books and magazines related to your industry, small business, marketing and success.
- Listen to podcasts and radio shows related to your industry, small business, marketing and success
- Take courses or seminars
- Attend conferences
- Join a mastermind group to learn from other experts
