SCAM Survey

Work-At-Home Scam Prevention week is coming March 17 -  23, 2008. I preparation, I'm conducting a brief survey regarding people's experiences with work-at-home scams.

Please provide the following contact information:
Name
E-mail

Have you been the victim of a scam?

If yes, please indicate which scam(s) you have been victimized by such as envelope stuffing, assembly work, email processing, payment processing, "jobs" requiring fees, etc.

How much money have you lost because of scams?

Did you have any niggling thoughts that what you were sending money to or signing up for might be a scam?

If so, why did you go ahead and send the money?

How did you feel at the time you sent in your money or signed up for the program that turned out to be a scam? (Before you new you'd been scammed.)

How did you discover that you were scammed?

What were your feelings when you determined you'd been scammed (I.e. angry? embarrassed? depressed? etc)

What did you do about it? (I.e. report to FTC? Call the police? etc)

Did you get any results such as your money back?

If you've never been the victim of a scam, how have you been able to avoid it?

Have you found legitimate work-at-home options?

If so, are you currently working at home?

If you're working at home, or are in the process of working at home, what do you do?

Can I use your name and comments for articles regarding the results of this survey?

Thank you for taking time to fill out this form! Watch for the results to be posted at WAHS and WAHS Jobs and News.  - Leslie Truex
