IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT JOBS!
I have received a couple of emails asking about the jobs posted in this ezine. The actual job announcements are ones I find using a variety of resources. They are, of course, free as real employers don't charge to hire you. After the job announcements there is a section that lists resources I use to find jobs. Many of these resources are free, but a few aren't. The question I'm getting is...if you aren't supposed to pay for a job, why am I recommended paid job services?
The answer is that the fee-based job databases aren't hiring you. They provide a service (listings of jobs). Its like buying the newspaper to see the job ads. These databases offer a service, providing a list of current work-at-home jobs. However, they don't guarantee that you'll get hired and any job resource service that does should be suspect. You don't have use these services and in fact, I only recommend them to people are serious about finding a work-at-home job and understand that they have to earn the job just like in the traditional job market. (Remember, work-at-home jobs are like traditional jobs in that you need to have the skills and experience to do the job.)
So no, you don't want to pay to get hired (send $25 and you can stuff envelopes), but it is okay to invest in services that can help you get a job such as a job database or resume services. Neverthless, be sure to screen any job resource you are looking at. I personally use the resources I list here so I know they are okay. However, if you find others that say you can sign up to type, do assembly work, or stuff envelopes, stay away.
The Next Internet Millionaire
I'll admit it. I like reality tv. Up until this year I watched The Apprentice every week. And of course, I'm hooked on American Idol. While I enjoy watching the drama and excitement of reality tv, I never once thought about joining in. I don't want to work for Trump and I can't sing...even in the shower.
But this week Google Adsense Guru Joel Comm has announced the first ever reality Internet show Next Internet Millionaire. I'm not sure if I'll "audition", but I did sign up for the club to learn all I can not just from Joel, but from a team of Internet experts including Marlon Sanders, Perry Marshall and more.
Normally I don't buy into stuff like this, but Perry Marshall's Ultimate Guide to Google Adwords has helped me triple traffic and ezine subscribers to Work At Home Success over the last few months. And Joel's The Adsense Code has helped me quadruple my Adsense earnings. It's not a million dollars ... at least not yet.
Over the years I have spent a fortune on books and resources about making money online. What I like about Joel and some of the other "teachers" at the Next Internet Millionaire is that they have a great way of helping people wade through the e-babble so that you can actually implement their ideas and profit from them. It's so easy to get lost in keywords, and SEO until you're brain turns to mush, so its nice to have teachers who can break things down, step-by-step, allowing you to learn the basics and see results from your efforts.
If you'd like to be the Next Internet Millionaire or just a groupie club member like me, check out the video and details at Next Internet Millionaire. - Leslie
