You’re busy. You don’t have a lot of time. I know what that feels like. I too feel like I can’t add one more thing to my schedule, and yet this month, while committing to finishing two books that should have been done months ago, I’ve decided to take on two challenges. Why? Because I know the more things that are one the to-do list and the less time I have, the better at I am getting things done. Yes, it can feel a little stressful and overwhelming, but when you want results, you have to push yourself sometimes.
The two challenges I’ve committed to are:
Kelly McCausey’s Stretch Yourself Challenge: For me, this month long challenge will about getting out of the rut that keeps me in my lane. The challenge offers daily tips, inspiration, lessons, and accountability. If you have a website or online business that is stuck, the Stretch Yourself Challenge may be just the thing you need to jump start your action and profits.
Ultimate Blog Challenge: I’ve been a member of the Ultimate Blog Challenge facebook group for some time, but haven’t ever completed one of the month-long blog challenges. I don’t have much trouble blogging for WAHS. While I don’t blog here every day, I do make 14 posts a week that includes a newsletter and podcast. However, I’d like to do more at LeslieTruex.com and it’s the blog I’m challenging myself to blog everyday at.
It’s day one and I’m already asking myself what I’ve committed myself to. But I know if I take it step-by-step and manage my time, I can do it and just think what I’ll have to show for it on Halloween…. two books, 31 days of inspiration and ideas to improve WAHS (just in time for 2015 planning) and 31 blog posts over at LeslieTruex.com.
Will you join me? Even if you don’t want to do these two challenges, you can set up your own challenge. Commit to searching and applying to at least one job every day. Commit to doing at least one marketing activity (beyond social media) for your home business. Whatever you want in life, you won’t get it by waiting for time or for the stars to align. You have to make the time and have a plan. So join me! Let me know in the comments below or over on the WAHS Facebook page what you’ll challenge yourself to do this month!
