One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced as a do-it-yourselfer online entrepreneur is in creating interesting graphics. While you’re asked not to judge a book by its cover, the reality is that covers and logo graphics make a difference. Your Facebook header is no different. Your header provides the opportunity to build your brand, share what you do (although Facebook doesn’t want you to advertise…it wants you to pay for that!), and provide a sense of who you are. If you don’t know how to create graphics, making a great Facebook header took time and money. But now a service called Foob offers affordable custom Facebook Covers. It’s as easy as:
1) Finding a theme.
2) Uploading your picture and text
3) Getting your cover and adding it to your Facebook page.
Foob offers themes you can customize or you can submit your idea and a graphic designer can bid on it and create an original design for you.
And if you’re handy with the graphic design tools, you can sign up as a designer and get paid to make Facebook Covers.
Foob is free to join, but there is a small fee for the artwork. What that fee is, isn’t clear but appears it could be as low as $2.99. A great graphic can be the difference between someone liking your page and engaging in your business or leaving it all together, so a few bucks on a great Facebook cover is money well spent.
