I interviewed Shel Horowitz back in 2010 for the WAHS Podcast. He was gracious enough to let me interview him again for the Home Business topic at About.com. Shel has a great story. He started his home business before the Internet as a way to gain extra cash until his freelance journalism career took off. But now, over 25 years later, his home business has morphed and grown with the Internet. And while he writes a lot, he’s not a freelance journalist.
Shel Horowitz owns Green and Profitable, a copywriting and strategic planning business focused on Green principles. He is the author of eight books, five of which have won awards and/or been republished in other countries, including his most recent, Guerrilla Marketing Goes Green: Winning Strategies to Improve Your Profits and Your Planet (John Wiley & Sons, 2010, co-authored with Mr. Guerrilla Marketing himself, Jay Conrad Levinson). His book writing success has led him to expand his business to help writers become published authors.
