Hi Ricky, I can’t simply call and give you home based work. First you need to figure out your skills and experiences and interests. Then you need to decide what sort of jobs or home businesses fit with what you have to offer. Work At Home Success has lots of great information to help you. The key is research, planning and implementation. Working at home isn’t something you’ll sign up for today and start making money. It takes time. But it can be done. Good luck.

Hi Patricia, Work-at-home jobs are like any other job; you need skills, experience and a well-written resume to get hired. Start with your skills and look for jobs that need what you can do. I don’t see much in the way of answering service jobs. If that’s what you want to do, make a list of answering services and contact them directly with a resume and info on how telecommuting can save them money. Another option is customer service work, of which there is a lot. I post many customer service job on the site every week. Good luck.

There are many jobs that need math teacher or tutors, or telecommunication help. Visit the job search information page for tips on searching for and apply to telecommuting jobs. Good luck.

Hi LaTonya, Thank you for reading the WAHS Bible. It’s currently going through an update as some material is a little dated. Your question is hart to answer. As you know from the WAHS Bible, you can’t just sign up for a job, so there are no sites I can send you to where you submit your name and start working. However, there are many companies that frequently hire and many that post legit jobs (such as WAHS – I post 70 jobs a week). CareerBuilder is a great place to check for customer service and other jobs you listed. You can check the Job Search page for more resources and suggestions. http://www.workathomesuccess.com/work-from-home-job-search/ Thank you.

Hi Narender, Everything you need to know about work-at-home jobs is posted here at WAHS. I provide free information and resources, but don’t offer individual job services. Further, you want to be very careful about data entry jobs as many (most actually) are scams. Some posts you’ll want to check out include: Avoiding Scams, how to tell a legitimate job from scam, and the truth about data entry work. I hope that helps!

Hi Denita, Both those ideas are good ones. Success working at home is less about what you choose to do and more about whether or not you’ll do what it takes to make it happen. It helps to start something you enjoy, and then do a lot of research to determine it’s viability (i.e. is there a paying market?), what’s involved in getting up and running, and then making and following a plan. I’ve interviewed several organizers and virtual assistants for the podcast, so you might what to check the oodcast archives to learn what they did. Be sure to check Home Business 101 for information, tips and resources to help you plan your home business startup. Good luck.
