    to do medical transcription do you need to go to school is the career step a legitimate school to learn this?

    You need to know medical terminology plus have the ability to type fast and accurately. There are home-based courses you can take, however, most work-at-home medical transcription jobs require 2 to 3 years of experience. Another options is that once you get the training, you can contact local doctor’s offices and medical facilities to see if they are willing to let you do transcription from home.
