More Resources To Find Work-At-Home Jobs
Want to find more jobs? Here are some of the sites I use to find jobs. These resources list hundreds of jobs in a variety of categories. Please note that the listings below are NOT jobs (jobs are posted above). These are services that provide work-at-home job announcements. Some are free and some aren’t. While you never ant to pay a company to hire you, it is okay to invest in a service that can help you find a job. The services below are the ones I use.
Telecommuting Job Databases (fee required to access these services)
FlexJobs– Has tons of work-at-home and flexible job options plus a personalized login system that will identify jobs that fit your criteria, ability to have multiple resume profiles, job search tips and checklists, and much more! For the number of jobs and added service, its a must use for the serious work-at-home job hunter.
HomeJobStop has over 100 jobs in clerical, and more in customer service, writing, transcription, miscellaneous plus 100’s of others. Very affordable.
Free job search sites (you need to search by keyword to find work-at-home jobs on these sites).
NEW! oDesk – Tons of freelance jobs in administrative support, customer service and more!

Six Figure Copywriting – One job or need that never goes out of style is copywriting. No matter how good or bad the economy, businesses need people who can write in a way that entices people to take action. The great thing about copywriting, besides that it’s always in need, is that you don’t need a special degree in English or marketing. You just need to know how to write persuasively.
I took the Six Figure Copywriting Course to teach me how to write better copy for my own business. What I like about the program is that it gives you the anatomy of successful copywriting as well as information on how to write persuasive copy. It is a homestudy course, so there are some assignments you can submit for feedback. At the same time, it’s self-paced so you can work on it as much or as little as fits your schedule. The program also comes with a website and forum where you can get help and support, as well as find jobs (you don’t even need to finish the program to start looking for work).
The course isn’t cheap, although it’s not too bad for a homestudy course. Plus, you can pay in installments. My only real problem with the program is the sales letter…it’s a little too hyped for my taste. Like any work-at-home venture, it takes work and time to generate good income much less fantastic income. However, I know many copywriters that do very well and I frequently see jobs for copywriters, so I know it’s a good career to pursue.

It doesn’t seem to matter how much information I and other legitimate work-at-home resources put out on fake check scams, people still get taken. It’s unfortunate that some people don’t think to research work-at-home offers before deciding to jump in. A NY paper recently reported on a man who lost $1,600 dollars in a fake check scam. This wasn’t some ignorant guy either. He once worked for the Governor, which shows how susceptible we all are when it comes to scammers. The best way to stay safe is to NEVER use your personal back account to help a company do business. No legitimate employer needs you to help it process money.
