When I first wanted to work at home, there was a stigma associated with it. You weren’t perceived as professional if your office was home-based. Of course, that has changed, but the idea that working at home only happens to solo-preneurs and a few telecommuters continues. So you might be surprised to learn that some very powerful people, including big-time CEOs work from home, such as Richard Branson, Chairman of Virgin Group and Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle. Business Insider recently posted an article 9 Successful People Who Work From Home that proves working at home isn’t just for moms or solo-preneurs.
The only thing missing from the article were women. Surely there are important business women working from home!
